About Pål H. Christiansen

The writer Pål H. Christiansen was born on September 9, 1958. He grew up in the Blindern/Vinderen-area in Oslo, Norway. He left Oslo Handelsgymnasium in 1977 and then studied at the Faculty of Law for several years, but didn't take the final exams. In 2001 Christiansen received the "Tiden-award" for his writings. He also works as a journalist for "Dagligvarehandelen". From 1993 to 2004 he had his own column "Hermans hjørne" in "Dagligvarehandelen". He was also editor for "Butikk i Praxis" from 1999 to 2005.

Christiansen is the owner of the small publishing company Fabula, which has published books like "Lille Blå og Lille Gul" by Leo Lionni, "Den røde ballon-gen" by Albert Lamorisse, "Pusen med de blå øynene" by Egon Mathisen and "Asymmetri" by Inger Frogg Jørgensen. In 2008 he also published "The Scoundrel Days of Hobo Highbrow" there.
